The Paper Plane was developed in a Chicago bar back in 2007 and named for the song of the moment: M.I.A.’s Paper Planes, naturally. Bourbon, Amaro Nonino (a bittersweet Italian liqueur), Aperol and lemon juice are all that’s needed to whip up this modern cocktail.
Paper Plane Cocktail
Angel's Envy Bourbon shares their easy recipe for the classic Paper Plane cocktail.
Ingredients
- ¾ oz Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels
- ¾ oz Amaro Nonino
- ¾ oz Aperol
- ¾ oz fresh lemon juice or one sugar cube
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and fine-strain into a coupe glass.
