Cold Brew Coffee Sbagliato

Pilot Coffee Roasters' recipe for a sbagliato cocktail, made with a cold brew coffee concentrate and fizzy Prosecco.

Ingredients

Cold Brew Concentrate

  • coarse ground coffee one part
  • filtered water four parts

Cold Brew Coffee Sbagliato

  • 4 oz Cold Brew Concentrate
  • 4 oz Prosecco or sparkling white wine
  • splash Campari
  • splash sweet vermouth
  • orange peel twist for garnish

Instructions

Cold Brew Concentrate

  • Combine coffee and water; stir to submerge all grounds. Seal with a lid and steep for 12 to 16 hours (a longer steep will make a stronger concentrate).
  • Gently pour the Cold Brew Concentrate through a coffee filter into a decanter and store for up to two weeks. For added clarity, strain in twice.

Cold Brew Coffee Sbagliato

  • Fill a short glass with ice cubes, then add the Cold Brew Concentrate. Add Campari and vermouth, then top with Prosecco.
  • Rim the glass with an orange peel twist for garnish. Stir gently and serve.
