Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice
An easy homemade pumpkin pie spice blend made with cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cloves and nutmeg.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp ground ginger
- 1ΒΌ tsp ground allspice
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- pinch ground black pepper optional
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Transfer to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place.
Notes
For the freshest flavour, make pumpkin pie spice in small batches and store it in an airtight container away from heat and light. The optional pinch of black pepper adds a subtle kick.
