Don’t use too much soy sauce when enjoying sushi, it’s a mistake I often see people making outside of Japan. You don’t need to flood your dish with soy sauce. What will happen is that when you go to dip, the sushi becomes so soaked with sauce that first of all, it falls apart, and secondly, the rice soaks up too much and is much too salty. If you only have the tiniest amount of soy sauce in your dish, you can avoid all of that happening and you can easily top up if you want more.
