Celebrate the Eras tour with these Taylor Swift-Inspired Cocktails

Cocktails that are light, floral and slightly sweet – just like Swift herself.

The highly anticipated Eras tour is coming to Toronto, and elegant Yorkville eatery St. Thomas restaurant is celebrating with four Taylor Swift-inspired cocktails. Owned by the same team as Enigma and led by Michelin-starred Chef Quinton Bennett, St. Thomas offers an immersive dining experience. It’s the perfect spot for an Eras tour after party – T. Swizzle herself might even show up.

The cocktails on the limited-time only Taylor Swift-inspired menu are named in honour of some of her most popular songs, including Lover’s Elixir, a clarified Strawberry Margarita inspired by Lover, and Blank Space, a gin sour that’s a modern take on a White Lady, a classic cocktail popular in the 1920’s. Of course, the Blank Space cocktail is named for Swift’s eponymous album.

Our favourite is Lavender Haze, a cocktail that’s described as “dreamy and subtly floral.” (And, of course, the name Lavender Haze is reference to a song on Swift’s 10th album, Midnights.) Lavender Haze cocktail has a “light and floral profile, with cucumber adding crisp freshness, crème de violette lending soft, floral sweetness, and Drambuie providing honeyed depth. The lavender aroma is subtly present.”
