5 surprising wellness trends to look out for in 2026

Top trends at the CHFA Now Health and Wellness Show.

Living well has never tasted better, and nowhere was that more evident than at CHFA NOW Toronto, Canada’s largest natural, organic and wellness products trade show. The event showcased some key innovations— and in some cases, surprising ones— that will shape how we’ll eat, sip and live in 2026.

CHFA NOW made one thing clear: wellness is no longer just a product category, it’s a lifestyle focussed on living longer, feeling beautiful and being intentional. For 2026, Canadians will look for foods and drinks that fuel their minds, not just their bodies.

From portion-perfect minis to edible beauty, here are the top five trends that caught our eye.

Move over sweet, sugary lattes – this new generation of beverages is leaning into bold, bitter and functional flavour profiles.
