How to make your own pumpkin pie spice

Small batches mean fresher flavour.

Making your own Pumpkin Pie Spice is easy and costs less than buying a ready-made mix, and you probably already have all the ingredients in your spice drawer. Best of all, small batches mean no waste and fresher flavour.

We’ve add an optional twist to our spice mix; a pinch of pepper, which will give the mix just the tiniest extra push.

Use this classic spice mix on everything from coffee to chia pudding and oatmeal, and in a Pumpkin Spice Latte too, of course. We’ve also used this DIY spice mix in our Meringue Pumpkin Pie and Ultimate Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe.

Store the spice mix in a sealed container for eight to 10 months.
