This morning smoothie is packed with powerhouse ingredients.

This healthy smoothie brings an unexpected mood-boosting food to the table: watercress. This leafy green is rich in all things good – including folate, iron, zinc, calcium and magnesium – while also promoting a healthy, mood-boosting microbiome.

Kiwi, Orange, Banana and Watercress Smoothie

Watercress brings an unexpected depth in this bright, energizing smoothie.

  • 1 bunch watercress trimmed and washed
  • 3-4 sprigs mint
  • 8 kiwi fruit peeled
  • 4 bananas chopped
  • 4 oranges juiced
  • 1 lime juiced
  • cups water approx.


  • Reserve a few leaves of watercress and mint for garnish. In blender, purée remaining watercress, remaining mint, kiwi fruit, bananas, orange juice, lime juice and water until smooth.
  • Garnish with reserved watercress and mint leaves.
