Dirty Beet Martini

We call this one "The Dirty Beet."

Akvavit stands in for the usual vermouth here and brings the flavour of caraway to the party. A little pickled-beet juice gives things a savoury edge, just like the olive brine in a Dirty Martini. Be sure to stir for the full 30 seconds – the ice melt opens up all the flavours.
