There’s a new luxury ice cream brand on the scene

Chapman's Super Premium Plus ice cream is decadent, creamy and allergy-friendly.

2023 marks the 50th year of operation for Chapman’s, Canada’s largest independent ice cream manufacturer. To celebrate, this iconic ice cream brand has entered the luxury ice cream business with their new Super Premium Plus collection. Made using 100% Canadian dairy, the collection is also peanut-free, nut-free and egg-free. In fact, with its Super Premium Plus collection, Chapman has launched what could possibly be the first luxury ice cream that accommodates multiple dietary restrictions.

The new collection features eight decadent flavours all made with exceptional ingredients sourced from around the world. For example, Vanilla Trilogy is made with a blend of vanilla beans sourced from Madagascar, Tahiti and Papua New Guinea. Other flavours include Cookie Jar, a brown butter-flavoured ice cream packed with oatmeal cookie crumble, chocolate cookie chunks and cookie dough pieces and Salty Caramel Crunch, a caramel-flavoured ice cream with a ripple of salty caramel sauce, butter toffee pieces and a caramel cookie crunch.

This new luxury ice cream collection also features Cold Brew Coffee flavour, Chapman’s first co-branded product. The ice cream has been created in collaboration with Birch Bark Coffee Co., an Indigenous-owned company that makes rich, organic arabica coffee blends, perfectly suited for coffee ice cream.

Birch Bark Coffee Co. is also dedicated to water preservation efforts. As part of their collaboration, Chapman’s is donating a portion of proceeds from sales of Cold Brew Coffee ice cream to support clean drinking water initiatives for Indigenous homes across Canada.

There’s even a thoughtful story behind the elegant packaging design. The packaging is constructed with sustainably-sourced, fully-recyclable paper, and the graphic design was developed by a Ukraine-based design firm 360Branding. The entire design project was managed in Canada by the firm’s founder, Elena Fedorenko, who recently relocated to Canada due to the war in Ukraine.

With Earth Day and Chapman’s big 5-0 coming up, we can’t think of a better Canadian treat to celebrate with.
