The 2026 MICHELIN Guide Toronto & Region has arrived. Unveiled on September 22 at Toronto’s Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex, this year’s selection includes 111 restaurants spanning 33 different cuisine types.
While no new Michelin Stars were awarded this year, all of the region’s Starred restaurants retained their distinctions, including Restaurant Pearl Morissette, which remains the only restaurant in the Toronto & Region guide with two Michelin Stars.
The big news for 2026 is the addition of five new Bib Gourmands, bringing the total number to 31. The distinction recognizes restaurants offering “good food at a moderate price”.

Here’s what Michelin’s inspectors had to say about the five newcomers.
Antylia, Toronto
Michelin inspectors highlight chefs Aldo Camarena and Ashley McKay’s combination of Ontario ingredients and Latin American culinary traditions at Antylia, including heirloom corn that is nixtamalized and ground in-house.
The husband-and-wife team was also named one of Michelin’s new Mindful Voices, recognizing their work with local farmers and Indigenous growers and their approach to making the most of ingredients throughout the kitchen.
Golden Horseshoe Barbecue, Toronto
Pitmaster Andrew Golden specializes in Texas-style barbecue, slow-cooking brisket, ribs and other meats over a wood-burning smoker. In addition to earning a Bib Gourmand for Golden Horseshoe Barbecue, Golden received Michelin’s 2026 Young Chef Award.
Les Incompetents, St. Catharines
From the team behind Michelin-Starred Fat Rabbit, Les Incompetents takes a playful approach to French bistro cooking in downtown St. Catharines.
RPM Bakehouse, Jordan Village
From the team behind Two-Star Restaurant Pearl Morissette, RPM Bakehouse is a bakery and café with a focus on seasonal ingredients, breads, pastries and savoury dishes.
The Lunch Lady of Saigon, Toronto
The Ossington restaurant draws inspiration from Nguyen Thi Thanh, the Saigon street-food vendor known as the Lunch Lady, with a menu rooted in Vietnamese cooking and a rotating selection of noodle soups.
11 more restaurants join the MICHELIN Guide
In addition to the five new Bib Gourmands, 11 restaurants have joined the Toronto & Region selection as Michelin Recommended restaurants for the first time.
The additions bring the complete 2026 selection to 111 restaurants, including 15 Michelin-Starred restaurants, 31 Bib Gourmands and 65 Recommended restaurants.

The 2026 Michelin special awards
Four hospitality professionals also received special recognition this year. Andrew Golden of Golden Horseshoe Barbecue received the Young Chef Award; Sharon Chan of 156 ONEFIVESIX received the Exceptional Cocktails Award; Eric Roell of LORE received the Service Award; and Toni Weber of Restaurant 20 Victoria received the Sommelier Award.
