Spritzes are everywhere right now — on patios, dinner tables and across social media feeds. But you don’t need alcohol to enjoy the bittersweet, citrus-forward appeal of an Aperol spritz.
This refreshing non-alcoholic spritz recipe comes from Dear Friend, the intimate Dartmouth, Nova Scotia cocktail bar known for its thoughtful zero-proof drinks. Created by co-owner and bartender Jeff Van Horne, the recipe layers Martini Floreale and Martini Vibrante with alcohol-free sparkling wine and grapefruit sparkling water to recreate the bright, herbal complexity of a classic Italian aperitif.
Served over ice with a slice of grapefruit, it’s an easy summer mocktail recipe to make for warm-weather entertaining
