Strawberry Watermelon Smoothies

Meredith Youngson's 4-ingredient recipe for refreshing adult slushies, with watermelon, strawberry and goji berries.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water or coconut water
  • 1 cup frozen diced seeded watermelon
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 tsp goji berries see note
  • 1 tsp raw honey optional

Instructions

  • In a high-speed blender, combine all the ingredients. Blend for 30 to 60 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.
  • Pour into your favourite glass, slurp and enjoy.

Notes

Goji berries have impressive benefits ranging from anti-aging to immune support. They are packed with antioxidants, like free-radical-busting vitamin C, and, for such a tiny fruit, contain a generous amount of fibre and protein. Goji are most often purchased as whole dried berries, but you can also find them in powder format.
